Can’t Believe It’s Keto Quarter Pound Burger

Skip that weekend lunch trip out to the closest fast food drive thru, and try out this royally good bacon quarter pound burger with a keto friendly low-carb bun.

  • 1/2 lb of grass-fed ground beef or turkey
  • 2 Strips of Bacon
  • 4-6 Dill Pickle Slices
  • 2 Slices American Cheese
  • 1 Tomato, Roma or Plum
  • 1/4 Red Onion, Sliced
  • 1 tbsp Real-Egg Mayo
  • 1 tbsp Sugar-Free Honey BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Lettuce
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Avocado Oil
  • 2 Keto Friendly Low-Carb Hamburger Buns (can usually be found at any grocery store)
  • 1 tbsp Gourmet Burger Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic



Add the gourmet burger seasoning and minced garlic to the meat, mixing until well incorporated.


Form the meat into two 1/4 lb patties and place in the freezer for 5 minutes to slightly solidify.


Prepare your burger toppings on a separate plate so they are ready to add when needed.

Cooking Instructions


Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, butter and toast your keto-friendly buns for 5-7 minutes.


Heat a cast-iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat, and add the avocado oil.


Once the oil is sizzling add your patties to the skillet and cook the burgers for 5 minutes on the first side.


Flip the burgers and add on the the cheese so it can melt while the rest of the burger cooks through.


While the burgers are finishing up, remove your buns from the oven and spread on your mayo and BBQ sauce.


Slide the burgers from your skillet onto your bottom buns and layer on the toppings you set aside. Serve while hot!

Fast Keto Pro Tip: If you are already cutting close on your carb count for the day, you can completely omit the bun from the recipe and use whole lettuce leaves to wrap the burger in, instead of shredded lettuce.
